One Year Later… FOX News Shows Danish Muhammad Cartoons

(Update Below)
FOX News scored a first tonight…

One year after the Mohammad cartoon riots and after the death of the Danish imam Abu Laben who started it all, FOX News was brave enough to show the original 12 Danish cartoons tonight in a TV Special “Radical Islam: Terror in Its Own Words”

** Chad Evans YouTubed the FOX Special.
He has the whole FOX Special YouTubed so just do a search to get clips 2-6.

One of the conroversial Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons– Mohammad with a donkey that started riots caused the deaths of at least 139 people.

The Investigative Project’s research, along with film and video from the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), also based in Washington, feature heavily in the documentary, hosted by FOX News anchor ED Hill.

Other footage was obtained by FOX producers and cameramen, and from other news sources.

Hill’s investigative report shows dozens of shocking clips from Islamic television of Islamic clerics and leaders openly advocating violent attacks on the U.S. and Israel.

The documentary also shows TV programs where young children literally sing the praises of violent jihad, and speak of their own desire to become suicide bombers.

“What are you holding in your hand?” a small boy is asked by a reporter in one TV clip.

“A rifle,” the boy answers, matter-of-factly.

“What are you going to do with it?” the reporter asks.

“Shoot the Jews,” says the boy.

To be fair, CNN did show a couple of the cartoons earlier last year…

…But, it just wasn’t the same.

With the brave move by FOX News tonight make the station one of the few US media outlets to show the images.

Update: Hah! I was off on my pronouncement a bit.
Michelle Malkin actually showed the cartoons herself on a segent on FOX News last year.
