In First 100 Hours- Democrats Will Expand Abortion Funding

** In the first 100 hours of democratic control of Congress, Democrats plan on passing legislation that expands federal funding for abortion and cloning. **

This is what the mainstream media calls a “modest proposal”!

The democrats have been planning this for weeks.
This is what the Washington Post article said today on “Democrats To Start Without GOP Input”.

House Democrats intend to pass a raft of popular measures as part of their well-publicized plan for the first 100 hours. They include tightening ethics rules for lawmakers, raising the minimum wage, allowing more research on stem cells and cutting interest rates on student loans.

The Los Angeles Times gives a bit more information on the democrats plan to increase abortion funding… Notice how they call this a “modest proposal”:

Democrats plan to liberalize federal funding for stem cell research, a popular initiative that was approved by bipartisan majorities in both chambers of Congress before the president vetoed it in July…

Democrats Promise: Promote stem cell research.

What it means: Increase federal funding for such research.

Background: President Bush vetoed a similar measure in 2006.

Prospects: The measure is likely to pass, but the president could veto it again.

** And, why did the president veto this stem cell bill back on September 20, 2006?
Because it included embryonic stem cell research which “”crosses a moral boundary.” It includes aborting embryos!

So what does this mean?
Although, the Bush Administration approved federal funding for adult stem cell research, the democrats made stem cell research an election issue in the fall.

Remember the Michael J. Fox ad before the election?
The Anchoress wrote the facts down about this bad science and BIG MISTAKE.

Many of you are not familiar with the controvery and truth of the stem cell issue, an issue that was on the ballot in Missouri.

The controversy was never that Republicans were against stem cell research as Claire McCaskill falsely claimed in her election commercials. The controvery was that democrats were planning to publicly fund embryonic stem cell research. In Missouri anyway, when democrats talk about “stem cell research” they mean adult and embryonic stem cell research. Do you suppose is is any different at the national level?

The embryonic research uses a method of cloning and then aborts the embryos after several days. Also, adult stem cell research outperforms the embryonic variety of research. The embryonic variety is very controversial and continues to come under fire from the scientific community.

But, that won’t stop democrats from putting abortion and cloning into their legislation.

And, your tax dollars will be funding it!

I would like to believe that I am wrong about this…
But, am afraid that I am not.
Amazing… In the first 100 hours democrats will increase abortion funding!
