When I was younger, about 5 or 6, I had two older brothers in the service. This was the time of the Vietnam War. I was very proud of my brothers. They were off somewhere far away. So, I would play with my twin brother and our GI Joes and pretend. Pretend to be tall, and strong, and brave, and fierce… Today is Veteran’s Day and I congratulate all of the servicemen and women for the tremendous work they do for the strength of this great nation.
